Angel Investors 101

One of those basic components of any entrepreneurial venture is funding. This is a component we didn't spend much time on in business school, however I think it might be one of the more important points next to a strong pro forma income statement or pithy elevator pitch. Chris Allen gave me some of the missing education with his essay on his experience both being a recipient of angel investments and being an angel investor himself.

A nice complement to Chris' essay is the one from Gifford Pinchot on Angel Philanthropy. Gifford explains the challenges with getting social enterprises funded by angels.
